Marcia E. Cook

Marcia Cook is an associate with Kennedy & Souza where her wide-ranging litigation practice focuses on complex litigation, including insurance defense, premises liability, real estate, motor vehicle accidents, products liability, and construction defect. She has successfully brought numerous motions, defended appeals, obtained dismissals, and resolved cases favorably for her clients.

Prior to joining Kennedy & Souza, Ms. Cook’s practice was focused on premises liability, civil rights, products liability, employment, business litigation, catastrophic injury, and family law. Ms. Cook was admitted to the California Bar in 2010 after graduating from Golden Gate University School of Law where her academic achievements placed her on the Dean’s Honor List. During law school, Ms. Cook also gained experience as a law clerk for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office in the Felony and Juvenile divisions. Ms. Cook received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in Law and Society and Global Studies with an emphasis in Socioeconomics and Politics.

Ms. Cook is admitted to practice law before California State Courts and is admitted to the United Stated District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts of California.
