Carol J. Knoblow is a results-driven attorney with over 25 years of litigation experience. She has defended numerous high exposure lawsuits, including wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases that involved burn, brain, orthopedic, and spinal cord injuries. Carol has defended a multitude of products liability lawsuits. She has extensive insurance coverage experience, including the handling of declaratory relief, subrogation, bad faith, indemnification, and subrogation actions. Carol has handled professional liability claims (attorneys, directors and officers, accountants, real estate brokers, healthcare providers and other licensed professionals). She has authored numerous coverage opinions involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, assault and battery, property, priest/pedophile, products liability, and has a published opinion in bad faith. Carol’s past experience as a volunteer mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Courts has provided her with unique insight into the dispute resolution process.
Carol received her undergraduate degree from Allegheny College whereat she was an Alden Scholar and obtained her Juris Doctor at Pepperdine University School of Law. A strong supporter of healthcare advocacy, Carol has served as a State Project Leader and member of the Elite President’s Council for the National Patient Advocate Foundation and is a Red Cross Disaster Relief Volunteer.
She is licensed to practice before all of the Courts in the State of California, the U.S. District Court, the Central and Eastern District of California, the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth District, and California Supreme Court.
