Mr. Meneses was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1992 after receiving his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school he was involved with the Legal Clinic as well as contributing to the Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues. Mr. Meneses received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1987 with departmental honors from California State University at Fullerton. During college he was involved in numerous associations and clubs including the Academic Standards Committee and Associated Students Productions. Mr. Meneses practices in the areas of construction defect, contract disputes, and general liability defense. During his 28 years of practice, Mr. Meneses has defended almost every subcontractor trade in hundreds of construction defect cases throughout California. He has also represented general contractors in construction defect and dispute matters. He is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the United States District Court, Central and Southern Districts as well as the Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. He has handled arbitrations and hundreds of mediations and has argued before the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District. Mr. Meneses is a proponent of and skilled in mediating and resolving matters. Mr. Meneses has been involved in numerous cases where the claims and demands were in the millions of dollars and he was able to resolve the disputes for a fraction of the amounts, saving his clients thousands of dollars in litigation costs and settlement contributions. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and a member of the Claims and Litigation Management’s San Diego Local Chapter. In 2005 he was a Semifinalist for Top San Diego County Attorneys in Construction Law. Mr. Meneses has been married for 27 years and has two grown sons.
